We had an investigator that stayed through all
the meetings and looked like he was ready for a good nap by the end of it all . . .
. . .I love Finnish! It's way hard but it's way fun and I always find new
reasons i love it. For example he or she is always hän. Girl? Boy? Hän. cute
baby but you don't know if it's male or female? That's ok. don't know if
someone is talking about their son or daughter. that's ok just ask his/her
(hän) name.
Mom I have officially worn through my first
pair of running shoes. Finland is a civilized country so I can just buy new
ones here and it might be cheaper than having you send another pair from home.
We met with a referral this past week who
brought along a friend. We now have 2 new solid investigators. We were at the
store when we walked by a guy and his friend. He called out "sisters!"
in English and it took a second but we turned around and started talking to
him. Turns out he was baptized in Venezuela and has lived here for 3 years but
doesn't know where the church is. He asked if we could bring him a Book of Mormon. It's another start to something great!
Heavenly Father is blessing us all around with opportunities.
It was great to talk to you all last week. Glad to hear everyone
is doing well. Enjoy the rest of your break. Happy New year!!
Rakkaudella,
Sisar Heggie
